Description

The Heart Nebula, or IC 1805, is a star-forming region located in the constellation Cassiopeia, approximately 7,500 light-years away from Earth. It is one of the brightest nebulas and contains young massive stars that ionize the surrounding gas, creating colorful nebulous structures. The presence of an O-type star, HD 15570, contributes to the intense star-forming activity. The nebula is famous for its "Claw," a bright claw-like structure. IC 1805 provides valuable insights into star formation and the evolution of H II regions within our galaxy.
